Does Smart Glasses cause headache?

When properly used, no!

An interesting article from the Dr. Eli Peli, the Harvard optometrist who advised the Google Glass team on ocular discomfort.
Wearing the HUD (or the screen) on the upper right side initially can cause some pain, because the eye muscles are not used to look in that position. This will go away after a few days.
Also an intense use (looking for a long period to the screen or HUD) can cause discomfort.
  • by preference, position the HUD under your line of vision, this is a more natural position for your eye.
  • do not overdo when you start
  • look to the HUD only when needed, do not look for long periods.Smart Glasses are designed for micro-interactions.
